The Bouncy Plane is a taut elastic membrane anchored to all four edges of your screen, deployed for the sole purpose of being poked, dragged, and plucked. It has no menu, no settings, and no exit. It simply waits, under tension, for improper handling.
Every wobble you see is computed in real time by our proprietary discrete wave-propagation lattice, a technique borrowed from decades-old ripple-tank demonstrations and repurposed for uses the Authority declines to specify. Disturbances spread outward from your cursor, reflect off the anchored border, and interfere with one another exactly as physics — begrudgingly — allows.
We do not call this a physics engine. We call it Continuous Elastic Oversight.
Every fiftieth disturbance triggers a full material recertification: a new authorized color scheme is issued, the spring constant is quietly loosened, and the surface is declared, with great confidence, Mark II. Then Mark III. The Authority has not yet determined an upper limit.
It doesn't, technically. But you found a taut rectangle stretched across your screen, and you poked it anyway, and it rippled back at you, patiently, forever. We think that says more about you than it does about the plane.
